Binance API security and trading controls

MW Trader checks restricted API access before new automated Futures execution. Your Binance account remains the place where trades and positions are held.

01

Which permissions are required?

Use a Binance API key with Futures trading access and a trusted IP restriction that includes the server IP displayed in Setup. MW Trader's connection check rejects keys with withdrawal permission enabled. Review this practical key-security checklist before connecting.

02

How are credentials handled?

API credentials are sent through account registration or authenticated Setup, encrypted on the backend and not shown back in member or admin views. Never send an API secret, password or email code through support chat.

03

Can I revoke access?

You control the key in Binance API Management and can revoke it there. Revocation or an expired/invalid key stops MW Trader from submitting new orders; monitor any existing Binance positions directly if access is interrupted.

04

What if the connection fails?

If the Binance connection is not ready, MW Trader stops sending new orders. Stopping or pausing new entries does not close existing positions. Use the separate Close controls and verify the actual Binance position state.
